Welcome to the Sacred Story Hub
A repository of personal accounts and stories of sacred moments told by those who have experienced them. The Sacred Story Hub features shared moments between patients and their healthcare providers which may occur organically at times of crisis, great joy, or during quiet times. Sharing stories can provide support, encourage understanding, foster connections, inspire others, and create change.
Featured Stories
“I started with a low warm D, letting the resonance sink into the room. Then the melody wandered higher, exploring the smooth upper register. It was full of weight and beauty all at once. When I opened my eyes after the brief improvisation, the group took a collective breath. Some wiped tears from their eyes. There was so much unsaid.”
“I feel I was being used as a voice from somewhere otherworldly to provide this message. I now believe this was a power greater than myself speaking through me to Mr. S. I feel that I was sent to translate, that I was being used as a beacon of hope in an otherwise dark time.”
“I looked in the rearview mirror and the other driver got in his truck and left. I wish I had walked over to him and asked, “What did you see?” I would have loved to have had his perspective but maybe I wasn’t supposed to talk to him; maybe I was just supposed to absorb it and have faith and believe that something like this could actually happen.”

Found in the Rain
“I looked in the rearview mirror and the other driver got in his truck and left. I wish I had walked over to him and asked, “What did you see?” I would have loved to have had his perspective but maybe I wasn't supposed to talk to him; maybe I was just supposed to absorb it and have faith and believe that something like this could actually happen.”
From a Tiny Ember to a Sacred Moment
“The thing I appreciate most about sacred moments is how spontaneous they are. Most often I’ll be rounding, just going through my daily routine, and then the opportunity unexpectedly coalesces.”
